About the Course
Tricarboxylic acid cycle is the final common oxidative pathway for all the three major macromolecules namely carbohydrates, lipids and proteins acting as metabolic fuels of the body. This cycle is major energy giving pathway for the cells. This course explains the various steps, location, energetics, vitamins required, amphibolic nature, Anaplerotic reactions and regulation of the pathway.-
