About the Course
The sulci and gyri on the surface of the cerebral cortex are used to describe the functional significance of the various lobes of the brain. Each lobe has a specific function; the parietal, occipital, and temporal lobes are primarily responsible for general sensory perception, vision, and hearing, respectively. The primary motor, premotor, supplementary motor, Broca’s speech, and frontal eye field areas are in the frontal lobe. Additionally, association areas are situated around these primary functional areas.-
