About the Course

Goal: To build healthcare professionals capacity to prevent, detect, and manage infections while ensuring the safety, efficacy, and community trust in vaccination practices.

Objectives:

To understand the principles of infection prevention, control, and vaccine safety in healthcare and community settings.
To identify common healthcare associated infections(HAIs) and adverse events following immunization (AEFIs).
To apply national guidelines and standard precautions for infection control and safe immunization practices.
To strengthen surveillance, reporting, and response systems for infection outbreaks and vaccine safety monitoring.
To promote evidence based decision making, risk communication, and community awareness on infection and vaccine safety.
