About the Course

This course teaches how to effectively use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) in pre-hospital settings during emergencies. Participants will learn the concept of defibrillation, the features and parts of an AED, and the step-by-step process of using an AED. Key topics include recognizing when to use an AED, attaching pads and delivering a shock.
