About the Course
The common mental disorders covered in this module include depression, anxiety and psychosis. These disorders are highly prevalent in primary care settings, and therefore a physician should know the basic clinical features and management principles, and when to refer to higher centres for management of these conditions. The prototype of psychosis is acute psychosis and anxiety is panic disorder. This course discusses what are the usual clinical features, assessment and management strategies in these CMDs.-
