About the Course

The presentation describes the commonly performed pulmonary function tests which are useful for measuring objectively the ‘working condition’ of the lung. The basic tenets of spirometry, DLCO, bronchodilator reversibility and bronchoprovocation tests are addressed. Pattern recognition of spirometry graphs to identify normal tracings and detect common diseases are also discussed.
