About the Course

Purpose: The purpose of this unit is to develop an overview of the programmes relating to tribal health and urban health, and also an understanding of the National Disease Control Programmes (NDCP), in India. The unit will discuss the status in each category, the objectives of each programme and the interventions being made in the National Rural Health Mission (NRHM).
