About the Course

Lymphoid neoplasms constitute a complex, clinically important group of cancers. These include a diverse group of tumors of B-cell, T-cell, and NK-cell origin.
Lymphoma is used for proliferations of white cells that arise as discrete tissue masses. Leukemia is used for neoplasms that present with widespread involvement of the bone marrow and (usually, but not always) the peripheral blood.
Within the large group of lymphomas, Hodgkin lymphoma is segregated from other forms, which constitute the non-Hodgkin lymphomas (NHLs)
In this course we shall discuss etiopathogenesis, pathology and the differentiation features of Hodgkin’s and Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma.
