About the Course
This two-part module explains the anatomical basis of venepuncture in the cubital region. Part I covers the anatomy of the cubital fossa and the superficial and deep veins of the forearm. Part II describes the basilic, median antebrachial, and median cubital veins, along with their anatomical variations and clinical significance. The module also highlights the protective role of the bicipital aponeurosis during venepuncture. By the end of the module, students will understand the anatomical principles underlying safe and effective venous access.-
