About the Course

Purpose: This unit provides an overview of the Indian Public Health Standards (IPHS), which were developed to ensure the quality of services provided at various Public Health facilities. It also discusses the standards of services required at each Public Health Facility for infrastructure, human resources machinery and equipment, diagnostic facility, drugs and other medical procedures. 

Time required: Three hours 

Prerequisite: This unit should be completed after Course 2, Unit 10
